Inspiration Video Wedding with Kelly Sweet Photography and Rick Reuther Music Host Productions at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel
Posted: 07/27/2010
Even though the weather looked a bit iffy last Saturday, it turned out to be one of the most perfect days for video and photography! We had a nice over cast, with a breeze to keep us cool before the ceremony. Courtney and Sam were both looking amazing and were both anxious to be married.
I met with the couple a few weeks prior when we went out to Grand Haven beach to tape their "Our Story" portion of their picture montage. I noticed very quickly that this couple is meant to be together. They each told me how they met, got engaged, and things they like to do together and what their future holds together. And then I took some footage of them watching the sunset, writing their names in the sand and walking hand in hand down the pier. I then intertwined that footage within the pictures of them together in their montage. They showed it during their reception and it was a big hit! You can view that video on my facebook page at this link.
The ceremony was at Pillar Church in Holland and then we took some pictures at Hope College where they both graduated from (and so did I). Then it was off to the Gorgeous reception inside the Imperial Ballroom at the Amway Grand Plaza! They did a fantastic job with decorations! I am very excited to work on this video!
It was wonderful working along side Kelly Sweet of Kelly Sweet Photography and her assistant Michael. They did Amazing work. I love following Kelly on Facebook and checking out all of her unique and elegant work! The picture above is thanks to Kelly Sweet - I just love her style!
It was also a pleasure to work with Rick Reuther of Music Host Productions. Rick's company is an excellent group of DJ's that I consistently work with and refer. They do an extremely professional job!
I am excited to get this wedding to Courtney and Sam. It will be a beautiful memory for them to be able to relive by watching their video and showing it to their children someday! |
